Questions
Massage FAQs
What’s the difference between Thai massage and deep tissue massage?
Thai massage combines acupressure and assisted stretching, usually performed clothed on a mat or firm surface. Deep tissue and full body massage use focused hands-on pressure to release tight muscles, typically with oil on a massage couch.
How long do sessions last?
From 30 minutes for a focused back, neck & shoulder or upper body session, up to 2 hours for a full traditional Thai massage — see the pricing above for all durations.
What should I wear?
For Thai massage, wear loose, comfortable clothing you can move in. For deep tissue and full body massage, you’ll be asked to undress to your comfort level and will be fully covered with towels throughout, except for the area being worked on.
Is massage suitable for everyone?
Most people benefit from massage, but let us know about any injuries, medical conditions or pregnancy when booking so the treatment can be adapted appropriately.
